About the Role:

We are on the lookout for a passionate and detail-oriented Romance Novel Editor to join our dynamic publishing team at Sparke Books. As a key member of our team, you will have the unique opportunity to shape captivating love stories that resonate deeply with our readers. Your responsibilities will include creating and selecting compelling romance novel plots, as well as reviewing fully drafted manuscripts to ensure they meet our high editorial standards.

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the world.

Your Responsibilities:

• Create, read, evaluate, and select compelling romance novel plots
• Read and edit fully drafted books, with a focus on plot structure and pacing
• Make necessary edits or provide feedback for improvements
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and narrative voice across all manuscripts

Qualifications:

• At least one published romance novel on Amazon with a minimum of 300 ratings and a 4.3-star rating
