Job Location and Study Requirements

This position requires candidates to be currently studying in or around the San Mateo, CA, area. Applicants must be actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree program in Computer Science or Software Engineering at an accredited institution, maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA in major coursework.

Technical Experience and Skills

Successful candidates will have:

• Experience in popular Deep Learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Understanding of image processing optimization methodologies; additional experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with computer vision libraries, particularly OpenCV.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.
• Strong coding, testing, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, with confidence in interacting with senior leaders and executives.

Position Eligibility and Requirements

Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening as a condition of employment and must be able to work onsite in San Mateo, California. This part-time position requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.

Compensation

The hourly rates for this role are as follows, varying by academic level:

• Freshman: $23.4/hour
• Sophomore: $24.7/hour
• Junior: $26/hour
• Senior: $29.9/hour
