About the Business Assessment & Audit Team at Oracle: Our skilled team is comprised of approximately 50 members globally and is integral in providing enterprise risk management services on behalf of Oracle's executive team and board. We conduct extensive audits (operational, financial, IT, compliance-focused) across Oracle’s worldwide operations, offering a dynamic work environment for professionals specialized in processes, information technology/privacy, and data analytics.

Position Overview

As a lead internal audit data scientist, you will spearhead the development and analysis of data to derive business insights that influence Oracle’s strategic decisions. Your role will involve innovating with new data and business intelligence technologies, training team members, and streamlining operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of data analyses for audit projects.
  • Maintain and support various analytics and visualization environments.
  • Deploy advanced analytics tools, including AI and machine learning, to enhance auditing processes.
  • Document analytical procedures and train users, ensuring alignment with business needs and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality data and effective audit outcomes.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Applicants are expected to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in data analytics within audit or consulting. Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau is essential. Communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are crucial for this role. Professional certifications like CISA are preferred, along with experience in cloud computing and business process auditing.
