Job Description

Join us as an intern and gain hands-on experience in building and testing our condition monitoring system for Rexroth linear guides on a machine tool in Schweinfurt. You’ll be responsible for setting up our software on an industrial platform, such as Rexroth ctrlX or Siemens PLC, and connecting sensors to the machine controller and machine learning model. This role offers valuable experience using advanced methods like machine learning to develop an industrial system.

Following this, you will perform robustness checks in various scenarios to ensure system reliability. You will also be instrumental in assisting the team with evaluating anomaly detection results and the overall performance of our system. This internship presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology while learning and applying advanced methods in an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical or scientific studies.
• Experience and Knowledge: Experience in control engineering and programming skills in structured language or C++.
• Personality and Working Practice: Independent and motivated individual.
• Enthusiasm: Interest in factory automation and condition monitoring.
• Languages: Fluent in German (preferred) or English.

Additional Information

Start: According to prior agreement.

Duration: 3 - 24 months (if the internship exceeds 6 months, confirmation as a mandatory internship is required for the entire period according to study regulations).

Requirements: Enrollment at a university is mandatory. Please attach your CV, transcript of records, enrollment certificate, examination regulations, and if applicable, a valid work and residence permit.
