Hitachi Digital Services Vietnam is a pivotal part of a 300-strong global delivery network. Our team collaborates across India, Portugal, and the US, delivering projects that span cloud migration, digital modernization, and advanced analytics. We are committed to operational excellence, agile delivery, and effectiveness in handling large-scale transformation projects for our global clientele.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Japanese Speaking Data Engineer, you will:

• Model data and build data pipelines for both Cloud and On-Premise platforms, including streaming and batch data sources.
• Provide access to curated data for various end users.
• Collaborate with data and analytics experts to enhance functionality within our data systems.

Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Over 3 years of experience in a Data Engineer role with a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or JLPT N1.
• Experience working with Japanese customers.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake data cloud.
• Proficiency in Python, data modeling, Spark, Datalake, SQL, data pipelines, data quality, and Rest API.
