About the Role

We are excited to announce the opportunity for a Lead Data Architect to spearhead our Data Management Office within Apple's Worldwide Sales organization. Positioned at the intersection of data and design, this role is tailor-made for leaders driven to solve complex business problems through strategic data architecture and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

In this vital role, you will:

• Collaborate with the Data Governance team to establish a unified business vocabulary, articulate strategic data requirements, and integrate high-level designs aligned with our enterprise strategy.
• Evangelize data-driven solutions and encourage their adoption across Apple.
• Own the development of a scalable data architecture that manages data across multiple business units within our governance platform.
• Build and mentor a team tasked with designing, developing, and delivering high-quality data resources.
• Connect with various IT and business teams to ensure the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive data management practices.
• Research emerging technologies and market trends to identify potential opportunities that could position Apple ahead of competitors.

Key Qualifications:

• 12+ years in architecting and delivering robust data management solutions.
• 5+ years leading high-performance teams.
• Advanced proficiency in master data management, large-scale data architectures, and data warehouse solutions.
• Deep expertise in data engineering, quality assurance, and observability.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to address high-level business problems.
