The Role:

As a Principal Data Scientist AI/ML at BeyondTrust, you'll play a crucial role in creating robust data systems capable of processing hundreds of millions of events daily. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our new Identity Threat Detection and Response solution launch. You'll work with both internal and external customers to understand their needs and facilitate access to the data they require.

What Will You Do:

• Define and optimize the architecture of large-scale data systems
• Develop and maintain batch and streaming jobs to transform, load, and export data
• Manage a Databricks-powered data lakehouse
• Operate a real-time detection pipeline against data accumulated in the lakehouse
• Process data and create suitable representations for specific purposes within the lakehouse and potentially other data stores, including graph databases

What You'll Bring:

• Real-time processing and response capability for large-scale event streams
• Data systems governance and engineering skills to uphold regulatory compliance and respect customer preferences
• Experience building data lakes or data lakehouses
• Capacity for autonomous work

Technologies You Should Know:

• Required: Spark
• Required: Databricks, Snowflake, Presto, Redshift or similar
• Required: Proficiency in Python or Scala
• Required: Flink, Spark Streaming, Storm, Samza, or similar
• Ideal: Some exposure to graph data stores
