Your Impact: As a Data Scientist, you will collaborate with the Product, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams embedded in the Cloud businesses, as well as functional leaders. These teams provide data and analytical structure, identify and implement initiatives benefiting the entire DI and multiple Cloud businesses. The successful candidate will need to: - Cooperate with Senior Leadership (VP+) to understand their business and assist on strategic objectives, product direction, roadmaps, growth targets, and retention strategies. As a Senior Analyst/ Data Scientist, you will form and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders. - Generate insights (like performance drivers, retention analysis, behavior personas) to hasten business growth. This involves collecting and sanitizing data from multiple sources, organizing and creating data models, analyzing for insights, and dissemination. - Collaborate with the data engineering team and product engineering team to instrument, gather, develop, and structure data assets essential for gauging the success of our products. - Take charge of delivery by working with data engineers and business intelligence engineers to convert insights into data products (like data pipelines, algorithms, self-service dashboards). - Develop and implement automated algorithm deployment pipelines and processes. - Evangelize and distribute data products that drive action or product improvement. - Foster the Salesforce data culture by extending new relationships, conducting learning sessions, integrating or creating new tools, and autonomously enhancing team processes. Required Skills: - 5+ years of experience in product analytics or data science. - Analytical thinker with a passion for using data and scientific methods to solve business problems. - Skilled in common analytical programming languages i.e., Python; expert in SQL. - Expert in end-to-end data development, encompassing data model design, quality review, deployment, and maintenance. - Experience in developing and deploying data science models, particularly in the Cloud environment. - Passionate about automating data for directly solving business problems. - Charismatic storyteller prepared to lead growth conversations with senior leadership. - A fan of relationship building and collaboration in a cross-disciplinary environment. - A related technical degree. Preferred Skills: - Experience working with data technologies enabling effective storage and analysis of vast amounts of data (for instance, Spark, Presto, Hive, etc.) - Experience in time-series forecasting methods. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $172,500 to $237,200. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $188,200 to $258,700.
