About the Role

As large language models (LLMs) proliferate, the demand for Audio LLMs has surged. The Hugging Face ecosystem supports the training, evaluation, and sharing of these models, datasets, and demos. This internship aims to enhance the accessibility of open-source tools for the community, with potential projects that include:

  • Integrations with audio data providers like Common Voice and GigaSpeech
  • Enhanced support for various audio data types
  • Development of demos for cutting-edge audio/voice models
  • Creation of new leaderboards for evaluations, such as TTS Arena and Open ASR Leaderboard within Spaces and Gradio

Note: This role is deeply technical and not a marketing position. Developer Advocacy at Hugging Face involves contributing to libraries such as Transformers, Diffusers, or Datasets, and collaborating on external projects.

You'll have the opportunity to foster collaborations within the ML for Audio Space, lead communications, adopt the latest audio-related features, and build tools for the community.
