Position: Machine Learning Engineer

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop models to deliver value for users, advertisers, and the company, focusing on LLM adaptations for text and multimodal challenges.
• Promote proofs of concept and innovate new features utilizing LLM capabilities.
• Assess technical tradeoffs for every decision.
• Perform code reviews ensuring exceptional code quality.
• Build robust, scalable, and lasting products, iterating quickly without quality compromises.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong understanding of machine learning approaches and algorithms.
• Expertise in LLM, multi-agent systems, and chat systems.
• Capability to collaborate with both internal and external partners.
• Proficiency in solving open and ambiguous problems.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent years of experience.
• 3+ years of industry experience in machine learning, specializing in LLM models and architectures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Specialization in NLP and multi-agent systems.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, both models, and services.
• Proficiency in machine learning, ranking infrastructures, and system design.

Compensation

In the United States, salaries are determined by pay zones which reflect market conditions. Starting pay will be based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, location, and more.

• Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): $168,000 - $252,000 annually.
• Zone B: $160,000 - $239,000 annually.
• Zone C: $143,000 - $214,000 annually.
