Machine Learning Engineer

Requirements: Your responsibilities will include: - Enhancing large language models, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech solutions within real-time production systems - Guiding the transition of machine learning models and pipelines into product in a multi-tenant environment - Working with the infrastructure team to deploy production-ready machine learning services - Optimizing our machine learning service runtime and performance Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding, or equivalent industry experience - Experience with professional software engineering best practices like coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, and testing - Experience with speech-to-text or large language models - Known working proficiency in one or more programming languages like Python or Golang - Working proficiency in verbal and written English Preferred Requirements: - 1-2 years of commercial machine learning experience - Experience with one or more cloud services: AWS, GCP, Azure - Experience with Tensorflow, PyTorch, or JAX - Experience with Docker/Kubernetes Benefits: - 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays - Flexible work-from-home policy plus a one-off work-from-home allowance when you join - Work from outside the UK for up to 6 months each year - Enhanced parental leave - Yearly learning budget - Bike2Work scheme - Private healthcare and dental cover, discounts on gym memberships and relaxation apps, and access to a range of mental health programs Equal Opportunity Statement: PolyAI is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
