About The Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Argo Labs, you will be leading the development, design, and implementation of cutting-edge machine learning solutions. Your primary focus will be on designing and deploying ML models to address complex real-world problems.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement state-of-the-art ML models to solve real-world problems.
• Translate leading-edge research into practical applications.
• Collaborate with researchers, software engineers, and product managers to tackle complex challenges.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and fine-tune models for peak performance.
• Ensure AI agents are robust, efficient, and production-ready.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and uphold high engineering standards.
• Monitor and refine deployed models to enhance user experiences.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI.

You Might Be a Good Fit If You

• Hold a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or equivalent practical experience.
• Have 2+ years of industry experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
• Possess strong experience with deep learning and transformer models.
• Are proficient in PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Have a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Are familiar with large language models, including training, fine-tuning, and optimization techniques.
• Have experience or interest in conversational AI, dialogue systems, or natural language processing.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Enjoy owning problems end-to-end and are eager to learn new skills.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, early-stage startup environment.
• (Bonus) Have first-hand experience building an early-stage startup.
