About Us:

Our team is dedicated to accelerating the discovery of novel RNA therapeutics by leveraging state-of-the-art ML and AI in life sciences and drug discovery. We seek a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer to transform this vision into reality.

Role Overview

You will:

• Build models, services, and libraries adhering to API contracts and metrics.
• Iterate on model design, training processes, and code abstractions to enhance key metrics.
• Aggressively test code to ensure specifications are met.
• Communicate issues, delays, and changes to project leads or senior engineers.
• Engage in code reviews as a learning tool to improve practices.
• Commit code early and often, seeking feedback as necessary.
• Frequently demo work or lessons for the team and organization.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for professionals with the following qualifications:

• Graduate studies in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or relevant fields, with a focus on AI/ML techniques.
• Industry experience in software engineering with Python and/or C++.
• Understanding and application of best practices across the Machine Learning stack.
• Track record of shipping ML-powered products.

Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

• PhD in Computer Science.
• Understanding of modern ML architectures, platforms, and backend systems such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience applying ML methods in the biology or life sciences domain.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• A mentality of commit early and often, prioritizing metrics, and shipping high-quality code.
