Position Overview: Machine Learning Engineer II

We are currently seeking a Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in ML infrastructure and deep learning architecture. This role is critical in designing cutting-edge deep learning architectures and enhancing our ML infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Deep Learning Architectures: Design and implement advanced deep learning architectures to bolster our advertising technology. Stay abreast of the latest deep learning research and apply it to real-world challenges.
• Advance ML Infrastructure: Lead initiatives to enhance and scale our ML infrastructure, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize data pipelines, model deployment, and monitoring systems.
• Collaboration: Work seamlessly with our team of ML engineers, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate solutions into our platform.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize ML models and algorithms to improve ad targeting, recommendation systems, and customer insights.
• Research and Development: Stay at the forefront of machine learning research and implement innovative techniques to solve complex challenges in advertising technology.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Experience with deep learning architectures and frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Strong programming skills in Python, along with proficiency in relevant ML libraries.

The expected base pay range for this California-based position is $134,000 - $207,000. Total compensation at AppLovin may vary based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation options such as equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive benefits are also part of the package.
