The Advanced Technology Group (ATG) at ServiceNow is a customer-centered innovation group that constructs intelligent software and advanced user experiences by utilizing existing and cutting-edge technologies to provide comprehensive, industry-leading work experiences for our customers. Our team consists of researchers, applied scientists, engineers, and product managers with a dual mission. We build and evolve the AI platform and join efforts with teams to develop products and comprehensive AI-powered work experiences. Equally, we establish the groundwork, conduct research, carry out experiments, and minimize the risks associated with AI technologies that will unveil new work experiences in the future.
You will be a crucial part in the development of AI and Machine Learning (ML) solutions that improve user experience and efficiency of enterprise services workflows. Traditional analytical tools often necessitate a technologically competent user to generate even straightforward results. We are adopting an entirely novel approach with the expectation that any user, regardless of their technical knowledge, will be able to utilize the AI/ML solutions we create, to operate services in an enterprise environment in a thoughtful and scalable way. We are in the early stages with our first adopter customers and we need your assistance in developing and implementing a breadth of solutions for over 5000 of our enterprise customers globally.
Construct top-tier cloud-based AI/ML solutions to power intelligent enterprise services.
Collaborate daily with a team of like-minded developers, product managers, and quality engineers to develop quality software.
Collaborate with product owners to understand detailed requirements and maintain responsibility for your code from design, implementation, to the delivery of the high-quality solutions to our users.
In order to succeed in this role, you should have:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
Expected graduation date in December 2024 or later.
Ability to work full-time for approximately 16 weeks (4 months) during 2024 (May – August or June - September).
Experience with Python/Java programming, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and time and space efficient algorithms.
Interest and experience in computer infrastructure, large-scale distributed systems, reliability, and observability.
Expertise in coding efficient, object-oriented, modularized, and quality software.
Knowledge of fundamental AI/ML techniques and algorithms.
Knowledge of unit testing, profiling, and code tuning.

You will play a pivotal role in building AI and Machine Learning (ML) solutions that transform the user experience and workflow efficiency of enterprise services. Traditional analytics tools typically require a technically skilled user to produce even simple results. We're adopting a completely new approach by expecting any user, regardless of their technical skills, to be able to use the AI/ML solutions we develop to manage services in an enterprise environment thoughtfully and scalably. We're just starting with our early adopter customers and need your help in building and providing a vast range of solutions to our more than 5000 enterprise clients worldwide.

• Cooperate daily with a team of like-minded developers, product managers, and quality engineers to produce quality software.
• Work with product owners to understand detailed specifications and take ownership of your code from design, implementation, testing, to delivering high-quality solutions to our users.
Required Skills:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's (engineering or computer science) program.
Undergoing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any other relevant field.
Expected graduation in December 2024 or later.
Able to work full time for about 16 weeks (4 months) during 2024.
• Experience in development (Python/Java), OO programming, software design, algorithmics.
• Interest in computer infrastructure, large-scale distributed systems, observability.
