About the Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer at CloudTrucks, you will lead the creation and management of cutting-edge ML models and algorithms. This role is crucial in developing intelligent systems such as dispatch tools, automated bidding systems, market prediction frameworks, and negotiation AIs that significantly enhance driver operations and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end design, implementation, and management of ML models and algorithms.
• Development and operation of our machine learning architecture with a focus on automation and usability.
• Strategic decision-making in build vs buy scenarios to scale our solutions efficiently.
• Upholding best practices in ML and broader data product operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 4 years of industry experience as an ML Engineer with a strong technical foundation and a track record of working on production systems.
• Proven ability to operate independently in a dynamic environment, driving projects from inception to completion.
• A user-centric approach to product development with a knack for rapid, iterative design and deployment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, essential for collaborating effectively across diverse teams.

Nice-to-have skills include data engineering, experience with our tech stack (Vertex AI, Qwak, LLMs, Airflow, Python, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud, Django), and more.
