About the Opportunity

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will train, test, deploy, and maintain ML models to derive insights from data. Your proficiency in conducting statistical analyses on business processes using machine learning techniques will be crucial in delivering customer-focused solutions.

In this role, you’ll own and define the direction of mission-critical projects by applying best-fit ML algorithms and technologies. Collaborate with a large community of machine learning engineers, data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver world-class solutions. You’ll also perform A/B testing tasks on statistical models, ML algorithms, and systems.

Your advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise will guide clients through the intricate landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks. Qualifications

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in data science, data analytics, machine learning engineering, or postdoctoral research in machine learning
  • Experience with natural language processing and language models
  • Experience deploying machine learning models in production environments
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in different machine learning methods, including linear, reinforcement learning, tree-based, or deep learning methods, and regularization approaches
  • Experience with SQL databases
  • Experience with software development, including API development or database management, and model deployment using JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Node.js
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Ability to work in a Linux environment using Bash scripting
  • Secret clearance
  • Master’s degree

Compensation

At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions and provide you with choices and support for your total well-being. Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week regularly are eligible for benefit programs. Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience, with a projected compensation range for this role between $75,600.00 and $172,000.00 (annualized USD). This range exemplifies just one part of our total compensation package.
