The Role

We're seeking a recently graduated PhD in Machine Learning to step into a transformative role as a Machine Learning Engineer. Within this position, you will harness your academic prowess to develop, scale, and implement complex machine learning products. Teams across engineering and product development will look to you for leadership in designing algorithms that solve CTR modeling, recommendation systems, and creative text generation using large language models.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with product managers and engineers to conceptualize and define machine learning solutions.
• Develop and maintain robust machine learning models and pipelines.
• Engage in continuous learning and application of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
• Promote knowledge sharing through tech talks and contribute to a culture of excellence.

About You

You are a recent PhD graduate with a focus on Machine Learning, eager to apply your knowledge in a dynamic commercial environment. You possess a solid foundation in software engineering and system design, with any hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Kubeflow, or TFX considered a significant advantage. A passion for continuous improvement and innovation is essential, as is a collaborative spirit and a drive to solve complex problems.

Salary

$160,000 - $190,000 annually, including superannuation, equity grants, and world-class benefits.
