What We're Looking For
We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer passionate about leveraging machine learning for the greater good. In this role, you will develop next-generation platforms to assess the origin, quality, and authenticity of global information. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ML research, a keen product sense, and robust software engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and fine-tune advanced language models.
• Develop AI agents with retrieval-augmented capabilities.
• Construct efficient ML training and inference systems.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AI and ML to tackle new challenges.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to ensure our applications are intuitive and impactful.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience in PyTorch/Transformers.
• Proven track record as 1st author in papers at top-tier conferences or leading significant ML projects in industry.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate in the machine learning space.
• Self-starter with the capability to lead projects in a dynamic environment.
• Strong motivation to drive positive societal changes.
• Eligibility to work in Canada or the US.

Bonus Points:
Possess a strong open-source portfolio, experience with top-tier ML publications, experience in startup environments, and an understanding of how ML models operate in real-world scenarios.
