Role Overview

We are on the hunt for a visionary Machine Learning Lead to spearhead our machine learning division directly under the guidance of our Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a new team within a dynamic, expanding company.

Key Responsibilities

As the pioneer of this critical function, you will:

• Develop cutting-edge machine learning systems to spotlight undiagnosed patients with severe, complex conditions.
• Formulate and implement our strategic ML objectives in collaboration with the CTO.
• Design ML experiments to refine our patient identification models.
• Oversee a gifted team of ML experts, data scientists, and engineers.
• Integrate ML strategies across all business operations.
• Maintain responsibility for essential metrics influencing our company's top goals.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess:

• An advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, or related field with a focus on ML.
• At least 8-10 years of ML experience, with 3-5 years in a leadership capacity, preferably in healthcare technology or genomics.
• A robust background in statistics, Bayesian modeling, and both classical and deep learning ML models.
• Proven capability in building and managing comprehensive ML pipelines.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration.

Compensation & Benefits

This role offers a salary range of $151,000-$223,000, alongside:

Location & Commitments
