About the Role

Our Machine Learning Operations and Response team within CrowdStrike Data Science is seeking a Manager of Threat Analysts who is both customer- and team-focused. The primary responsibility of this role involves managing a team investigating customer detection issues. This team aims to enhance CrowdStrike’s machine learning detection capabilities and efficacy by analyzing malware and threat detections that impact our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of threat analysts
• Ensure product detections meet company standards
• Manage problematic or false positive detections
• Address internal questions and concerns about customer threat detections
• Facilitate internal communications

What You'll Bring:

• Understanding of different types and functionality of malware
• Knowledge of cyber threat operations and response
• Fundamental understanding of threat detection
• General understanding of threat/risk management and assessment
• Escalations management skills
• Strong data presentation and reporting skills
• Familiarity with machine learning
• Ability to build processes supporting new product areas

Qualifications:

BA/BS or MA/MS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
