Join Our Team as a Machine Learning Operations Engineer at Singtel

At Singtel, we're on a mission to push the boundaries of technology and now we're seeking a passionate Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Engineer to help us debunk the myths of Machine Learning (ML) and enhance our operational workflows. Your Role and Responsibilities

As an MLOps Engineer, you will:

• Develop engineering solutions to operate at a production-level for machine learning and data-driven initiatives.
• Manage and monitor the entire lifecycle of ML models in production, including feature monitoring, model results, and performance.
• Schedule and orchestrate complex ML workflows and pipelines using cutting-edge technologies.
• Optimize machine learning algorithms by leveraging advanced technologies to reduce both training times and inference latency.
• Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and IT teams to build platforms that support large-scale machine learning and data analytics operations.
• Continuously innovate and optimize ML workflows through research and development of new technologies.
• Establish, implement, and maintain best practices and principles of machine learning engineering.

What We Need From You

Essential Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
• Excellent programming skills in at least one object-oriented language such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Proficiency in Bash, Shell, YAML, Ansible, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Junit, Ctrl-M, K8, Docker, and other similar tools.
• At least 2 years of experience in software engineering or data engineering.
• Practical experience in implementing machine learning algorithms and applications.
• Strong expertise in ML model deployment tooling and high-performance computing.
• A deep passion for machine learning, exploring new application areas, and tools.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Spark, HiveQL, or Optaplanner.
• Understanding of database modeling, big data, or data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in distributed ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, or MLFlow.
• Experience with AI techniques including machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
• Experience working with clients in Singapore, familiarity with GDPR, PDPA, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Certifications in cloud-based analytics platforms such as Microsoft Azure Analytics, AWS Analytics, or Google Cloud Platform Analytics.
