Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a seasoned Manager Data Engineer who will play a crucial role in addressing complex business challenges through structured technological solutions. Your main tasks will include:

• Translating business issues and requirements into actionable tasks for the data engineering team.
• Designing, building, and optimizing end-to-end business intelligence solutions including data extraction, storage, and complex transformation layers.
• Developing big data environments to support analytics on diverse platforms, advocating for the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
• Enhancing the efficiency and quality of our data pipelines and ensuring their reliability.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to adapt data pipelines that fulfill organizational needs.
• Creating essential data access tools for analytics and data science teams to foster new solution developments.

Educational and Professional Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• A Certification in cloud technologies, with a preference for Azure.

Prior Experience

We require:

• At least 10 years of experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines across diverse data sources like APIs, FTP sites, and cloud storages.
• Proven skills in operational programming, version control, CI/CD, and testing.
• Experience with Apache data projects (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Airflow) or cloud platforms such as Databricks and Azure Data solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, R, Java, or similar.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, especially Agile, and project management tools like Azure DevOps.
• Leadership experience with the ability to manage teams towards achieving business goals.
