What Does a Data Science Manager Do?

Our Data Scientists play a crucial role in guiding the next tech wave in financial services, focusing on personalized, intelligent customer interactions. As part of the Consumer Identity ML team, you'll lead efforts to harness billions of data points to craft machine learning models that predict and fulfill customer needs in real-time, ensure data accuracy, and combat fraud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Explore extensive datasets to model customer behavior and predict outcomes.
• Develop and refine ML models that improve customer interaction across digital platforms like our mobile apps and websites.
• Work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to implement models in production, affecting millions of customers.

Who Should Apply?

Ideal candidates are innovative, creative thinkers who are not afraid to challenge the status quo. You should be technically skilled with substantial experience in data science, machine learning, and software development using languages like Python. A strong statistical background is essential to succeed in this role.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years in data analytics, or Master’s Degree with 4+ years in data analytics, or PhD with 1+ year in data analytics.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with open-source programming languages for large scale data analysis, machine learning, and relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in a STEM field with extensive data analytics experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or R, and familiarity with AWS and managing teams.

Location & Compensation:

The role is available in New York City and San Francisco with hybrid work arrangements possible. Salary ranges for New York City are $201,400 - $229,900 and for San Francisco, $213,400 - $243,500, dependent on candidate experience and qualifications.
