Job Description: Master Data Architect

Join our team as a Master Data Architect. This pivotal role will be integral in defining the future of Master Data Architecture and contributing significantly to Knorr-Bremse's digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Establish technical solutions for Master Data standards and enhance the quality of Master Data in our SAP and related systems.
• Develop future Master Data solutions in collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Support data quality and technology issue resolution with subject matter experts.
• Be part of a central Master Data Governance Team, creating the foundation for a data-driven organization.
• Drive Master Data Solutions in key programs like S/4 HANA and collaborate with cross-functional business units.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Informatics, Information Technology, or related fields.
• 5 years of proven experience in master data management and product management.
• Deep methodical, technical, and process-related knowledge of the SAP standard alongside a comprehensive overview of relevant SAP products.
• Strong communication skills, capable of bridging technology and business stakeholder groups.
• Experience in developing MDM architectures and data flows across/integration in SAP ERP (R/3 & S/4) with both SAP and non-SAP satellite systems.
• Proven leadership experience in international IT projects and initial experience in people management.
• Excellent English proficiency; German is a plus.
