Position: Master Data Architect - SAP Solutions

We are seeking a master data architect specializing in SAP Solutions to lead, design, and develop processes, solutions, and capabilities around our master data within Pandora. As part of our digital transformation, we launched our business ERP transformation Program “Compass” in 2023. The program aims at simplifying our business, driving standardization, and setting strong foundations for our growth.

This greenfield implementation leverages the newest SAP technologies, including SAP S4 HANA on Private Cloud, cloud ALM, and BTP, as well as Kafka for integration capabilities. We are building a robust internal team of SAP experts and cover global processes from manufacturing and distribution to retail, procurement, and finance.

Role: Master Data Architect to Support Pandora’s Future MD Landscape

As our new master data architect, you will play a pivotal role in our SAP ERP program by guiding and deciding on future master data processes and related tech landscape based on Pandora’s direction. You will define excellent master data processes and solutions in Pandora’s context, spanning from product design and manufacturing to retail and commercial activities.

Your responsibilities will include the design of our master data tech landscape, the roll-out of our Kafka EDA integrations platform, and the simplification of master data processes.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Designing solid master data management strategy, policies, and procedures.
• Defining Pandora’s master data models, architecture, entity-relationships, and data dictionaries.
• Designing master data repositories, distribution processes, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Ensuring seamless integration of master data across various systems and platforms.
• Implementing data quality measures, validation processes, and developing data quality metrics.
• Ensuring master data security and compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Leading the way for Pandora’s future master data framework, challenging the status quo, and managing stakeholders.
• Being part of a larger ERP data team, bringing the team onboard our strategic direction.
• Working alongside Data Governance and contributing to it.
• Developing Master Data Principles with an enterprise-wide understanding of Master Data.

What is Needed to Succeed:

• Proven experience in Master Data, data architecture, data flows, and database design.
• Knowledge of MDM platform tooling.
• Experience with SAP ERP implementations, defining and refining master data models and processes (preferably S/4 HANA with retail background).
• Proficiency in statistics and data quality, using statistical tools for dataset analysis.
• Experience with data transformations and Information Architecture.
• Strong analytical skills for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating information with accuracy.
• Experience with data modeling tools like Erwin.
• Experience in a data-rich company; retail experience is advantageous.

Additional Experience Considered a Benefit:

• Knowledge of and experience with integration technologies and interface tools, preferably EDA associated tools like Kafka, Kong, and the native SAP interface toolset (BTP, etc.).
