About the Role

We are currently offering an intriguing master thesis position in the area of Machine Learning and Thermal Management Simulation for battery electric vehicles (BEVs). This research focuses on enhancing simulation processes with advanced machine learning methods, crucial for developing new simulation methodologies for BEV thermal management.

What You Will Do

• Engage in interdisciplinary research at the crossroads of Data Science, Machine Learning, and Thermodynamics.
• Gain deep insights into the system behavior of battery electric vehicles.
• Implement and assess transfer learning approaches integrated into existing methodologies.

Candidate Profile

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.

• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with Machine Learning libraries.
• Experience with cloud-computing services (e.g., AWS) is beneficial.
• Proficient in German and English.
