Join Our Team as a Mechanical Engineer at Google

Google is looking for a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic Data Center Design and Construction team. As part of the Technical Infrastructure team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the infrastructure that keeps Google's services running smoothly and efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree, Professional Engineering (PE) degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in bidding, designing, operating, and commissioning mechanical systems.
• Proven experience with mission-critical facility mechanical infrastructure systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical and control systems.
• Expertise in mechanical systems commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide the development and update of mechanical designs for our data centers from basis of design to issue for construction documents.
• Manage mechanical engineering tasks throughout the concept design, detailed design phases, and contribute to procurement and bidding processes.
• Oversee the manufacturing, delivery, and installation of key mechanical equipment.
• Maintain and update internal design specifications and standards to reflect the latest technology and configurations.
• Drive the development of next-generation mechanical system products in line with long-term company strategies.
