Role Overview

As a vital member of our team, you will engage with a diverse group of top-tier academics, engineers, and investment experts. You will lead initiatives to craft methodologies that address a broad spectrum of of challenges faced by our clients and investors across the firm. Your responsibilities cover the full spectrum of the research lifecycle and also include the development and implementation of innovative solutions that influence the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate complex business needs into technical projects with clear scope.
• Handle extensive and sophisticated datasets to explore and implement technical methodologies.
• Develop prototypes and employ advanced tools in optimization and machine learning.
• Create and present technical white papers and presentations to senior management.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop reliable, scalable solutions that adhere to firm-wide standards.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics. PhD preferred, or MS with extensive experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience with a focus on optimization, machine learning, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Julia, or R, with a preference for Python.
• Strong foundation in statistical techniques and experience with their practical applications.
• Experience in data analysis within finance, economics, or similar fields is advantageous.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, capable of engaging with external business and technology experts.
