Responsibilities

• Invent, build, evaluate, and deploy algorithms and models to accurately extract medical information from structured and unstructured data sources.
• Analyze performance results and effectively communicate your analyses to relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct research and publish your insights at recognized scientific venues.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Strong foundations in computer science, Machine Learning (ML), and NLP.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and communication skills.
• A strong desire to learn and grow within a dynamic team environment.
• A tolerance for ambiguity and flexibility to adapt to shifting strategic priorities.

Required Qualifications

• Enrollment in a graduate program (preferably a PhD program) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Bioinformatics.
• Practical experience with training and evaluating transformer models using Python-based ML frameworks and libraries such as PyTorch and HuggingFace.
• Fluency in Python programming.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Bioinformatics.
• Experience parallelizing training and inference for large models using libraries such as DeepSpeed.
• Publications in top-tier NLP conferences.
