Adoc Talent Management is looking for a NLP engineer for their client. Our client is an innovative company that designs an "all-in-one" solution based on AI, allowing to identify all necessary information about healthcare professionals. The company consists of multidisciplinary and multicultural teams (doctors, AI experts, etc.), who constantly push the boundaries of innovation on very advanced technical issues.

Position

As part of the artificial intelligence team, you will bring your technical expertise in AI/NLP to continuously improve the platform. Your role will be to design, develop, and improve advanced NLP solutions to meet the company's needs in various health domains, working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from a wide variety of public and private data sources.

In doing so, you will be conducting text semantic analyses, data source scraping, disambiguation, scraped data mapping, as well as named entity recognition, problem-solving, etc. You will experiment with the latest advances in NLP research and incorporate them into development projects. Moreover, you will facilitate the achievement of project deadlines, milestones and deliverables, as well as the identification of potential risks and obstacles, and proactively develop strategies to mitigate them.

You will have an impact on the design, implementation, and unit testing of algorithms to evaluate the quality and performance of NLP models. As an NLP expert, you will continually improve the performance of existing NLP models in terms of accuracy, speed, and efficiency. Furthermore, as an example, you will work with MLOps teams to contribute to the construction of continuous integration pipelines, enabling continuous deployment for industrialization.

Finally, through ongoing technological watch, and your cutting-edge scientific expertise, you will keep abreast of the latest innovations in NLP, and thus suggest new methods, techniques, and strategies. In addition, you will eventually participate in congresses and conferences.

The position is available as soon as possible on a permanent contract, in Paris with the possibility of remote work two days a week.

Profile

You hold a Ph.D., having developed skills in AI NLP.

You have proven research experience in new NLP approaches. You are comfortable with programming in Python, as well as mastery of NLP libraries and tools (such as Transformers, Hugging Face, NLTK, SpaCy, …). You have a good command of the Pytorch Framework. You have an interest in the health sector and wish to conduct applied research with commercial aim.

You possess advanced expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), with a deep understanding of linguistic models, syntax, disambiguation, text semantic analysis, and problem-solving. You know how to perform mapping and scraping of data, as well as named entity recognition.

Skills in LLMS (Large Language Models), ChatGPT, and experience in OCR are real assets for this position. Knowledge of data in the healthcare field would be ideal.
