About you

In alignment with M47’s exciting growth, we are seeking skilled engineers to join our NLP team to collaborate on a revolutionary Personal Voice Assistant software utilized by millions of users globally, with one of our major clients. We are searching for a candidate with native knowledge of Portuguese Brazilian to join our team! In this role, you will assist in training Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing models to enhance and adapt the software to your native language. The ideal candidate is someone with solid software engineering fundamentals and a passion for language, aiding in advancing human-machine interaction.

About your day-to-day:

• Working on data to enhance the precision of NLP/ML models for your native language
• Analyze the model's results to offer insights and improvements, deciding the type of data to feed to the algorithm
• Offer input and suggestions towards innovating new strategies and new product features custom-made to your local market
• Automating and incorporating workflows from diverse systems
• Ensure smooth and continuous communication with the team and the client

Requirements

What you'll need:

• Native knowledge of Portuguese Brazilian
• Knowledge in NLP, Machine Learning, or related fields such as Data Engineering
• Preliminary knowledge in at least one of the following: Python/Java/C++/Objective-C and shell scripting
• Good understanding of language and knowledge of the structural aspects of the needed language
• Experience with GIT or other version control systems
• Good organizational and analytical abilities
• Capacity to think creatively and robust problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• An academic record (BSc or MSc) in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Data Analytics, relevant fields, or equivalent experience.
