The Data Scientist Associate role is pivotal within our Payments Data and Analytics team, focusing on executing big data analytics projects that enhance product innovation and elevate customer support. Your expertise will generate critical payment insights that optimize transactions and unlock deep consumer and business intelligence—ultimately transforming these insights into scalable "insights as a service" products for our prestigious clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead analytics projects by leveraging business objectives aligned with our strategic roadmap.
• Swiftly respond to client ad-hoc queries by synthesizing data and translating results into actionable insights.
• Utilize SQL for data queries, develop Tableau visualizations, and produce detailed reports in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Advise merchants on optimizing payment performance through detailed analytics and actionable recommendations.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of analytical data through automated validation processes.

Who We Are Looking For:

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, coupled with at least three years of experience in a big data environment. Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python and Tableau are essential. Our ideal candidate exhibits a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. Prior experience in the payments industry or similar tech-driven fields is an advantage.
