Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to data science and machine learning R&D initiatives
  • Utilize your expertise in data science, machine learning, and computer science to recommend technological and business solutions
  • Interview candidates for open positions on the team
  • Spearhead projects from research to development in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Offer technological leadership for innovative and differentiating solutions
  • Implement and optimize state-of-the-art algorithms in distributed environments
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to integrate solutions into the Epsilon PeopleCloud Digital Media Solutions platform
  • Gain a deep understanding of Epsilon PeopleCloud personalization platform and proprietary datasets
  • Actively participate in our collaborative approach to research and application projects

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in computational, mathematical, engineering, or scientific field
  • Fluency in computer programming, data structures, and algorithm design
  • Proven analytic and modeling skills with proficiency in implementing scalable solutions to business problems
  • Experience leading development projects from conception to deployment
  • 2+ years of industry experience in data science, computer science, machine learning, AI, statistics, or graph algorithms
  • Proficiency in working with diverse technical and business teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for translating complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
  • Exceptional organizational, motivational, and interpersonal skills

Additional Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

  • Experience with Spark libraries
  • Proficiency in Scala programming
  • Python programming
  • SQL queries
  • Experience with distributed computing, Hadoop, and cloud databases
