The Principal Data Architect role is central to our team, tasked with designing data solutions that not only optimize our organizational data but also enhance our decision-making processes. This role involves a significant understanding of both the business and technological dimensions, ensuring data solutions are both accessible and influential.

Our innovatively designed Flexible Future model allows for a hybrid approach of both in-office and virtual work, supporting collaboration and maintaining the strong community ethos at Chick-fil-A.

Key Responsibilities

The Principal Data Architect will:

• Lead the management and transformation of financial data from diverse sources to integrated corporate systems, fostering real-time decision-making across the organization.
• Drive strategic data initiatives and collaborate with various teams to enhance the overall data and analytics framework.
• Play a crucial role in the development and enforcement of enterprise data strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational efficiency.
• Mentor and support team members in enhancing their data skills and knowledge, creating a robust analytics-driven environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong expertise in data architecture and analytics, with proficiency in SQL and familiarity with software programming languages like Python.
• Considerable experience in cloud-based solutions, particularly AWS big data technologies, and an in-depth understanding of data management from governance to data warehousing.
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively articulating complex data scenarios to diverse teams.
• A minimum of 8 years' experience in a related field, with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Data Science, or a comparable discipline. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and data innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

In-depth experience with enterprise-level financial systems and advanced data certifications will be highly advantageous.
