About Our Opportunity

Our growing Digital Platform and Analytics department is looking for a motivated Principal Data Architect to join our innovative team. In this role, you will:

• Serve as an Analytics Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Microsoft Azure Data Platform, Databricks, and Lakehouse Architecture.
• Deliver Modern Data Platform solutions on Azure using technologies like:
  • Azure Data Lake Gen 2
  • Azure Databricks
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Power BI
  • Azure DevOps
  • Fabric
  • Azure SQL
• Work independently with minimal supervision to translate business requirements into technical requirements and data models.
• Have experience with Data Modeling methodologies such as Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault.
• Lead and contribute to the development of Analytics offerings and accelerators.
• Cultivate and close a pipeline of Analytics-related projects and services.
• Drive Analytics pre-sales activities by scoping, sizing, and developing work estimates and proposals.

What You Bring to the Role

We are seeking candidates who have:

• Experience in delivering Modern Data Platform solutions on Azure.
• Professional Services and Agile consulting project experience.
• A good understanding of Lakehouse Architecture.
• Skills in evaluating customer needs and selling based on business outcomes.
• Microsoft Data Platform or Databricks certifications (preferred).
• Industry experience in Professional Services, Healthcare, Industrials/Manufacturing & High-Tech.

Other Credentials

Bachelor’s Degree required. Azure Certifications preferred.
