Job Description: Principal Machine Learning Engineer (AI, NLP, Causal Inferencing)
Your Career
As a Principal Machine Learning Engineer, you'll tackle network security challenges using advanced machine learning techniques on vast datasets. You'll develop AI solutions that enhance device security and threat intelligence, impacting many customers daily.
Your Impact
Your role will focus on designing cutting-edge algorithms to diagnose health issues in Firewalls, developing AI-driven operational tools, and creating mission-critical product features. Your efforts in machine learning and big data will drive the evolution of technology in cybersecurity.
Qualifications
Your qualifications include an M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent military experience. With over eight years of industry experience in applied machine learning and data analytics, you are proficient in Java, C++, Python, or Rust. Experience with time series modeling, causal inference, and NLP is advantageous.
The Team
Our team leverages near real-time data from PAN-OS device telemetry to enhance cybersecurity operations with our leading AI Ops product for NGFW. We aim to preemptively resolve security issues with high accuracy and reliability in critical infrastructure.

We support visa sponsorship. The role offers competitive compensation (between $146,900/yr to $210,000/yr base for non-sales roles) plus incentives, stock options, and benefits as per our .
