Job Overview

We are looking for an expert Principal Software Engineer, specializing in Machine Learning, to join our Data Science team within the Cloud Infrastructure Services organization. Our mandate is to effectively utilize infrastructure resources, explore new AI and ML techniques, and enhance infrastructure optimization. You'll play a crucial role in developing AI solutions to modernize our infrastructure and adopt Generative AI technologies.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI solutions tailored to the Cloud Infrastructure Services needs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient software systems.
• Develop and implement Machine Learning models and algorithms to optimize infrastructure capacity planning.
• Utilize on-prem data science platforms to enable Generative AI solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices and a culture of documentation and transparency.

Essential Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning development and 5+ years in total software development.
• Proven track record of bringing projects from inception to production deployment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Go, and experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms, techniques, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Published articles and citations in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence, along with experience in software patents and patent applications.
