Key Responsibilities

As a Principal Statistical Data Scientist, you will:

• Be accountable for various projects and ongoing work activities, including timelines, work plans, and deliverables.
• Review, develop, validate, and review datasets, TFLs in accordance with CDISC aligned Pfizer Standards or Pfizer Data Standards for projects and portfolios.
• Contribute up to 80% of your time to programming deliverables using SAS, R, or Python, and dedicate 20% to self-learning and professional growth.
• Explore and modify existing code bases as needed, adhering to standards and specifications set by the team.
• Ensure proper documentation and quality control throughout the lifecycle of the study for all programming deliverables across Standards, Programming, and Submissions.
• Understand and implement standard, study, project, and portfolio requirements, working with global stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
• Display advanced problem-solving skills and seek guidance when necessary.
• Regularly update leads on progress and time estimations to facilitate smooth operations and planning.
• Act as a mentor to junior team members and advance your job knowledge by engaging in global and local opportunities.
