Your Role and Responsibilities

Your core mission will be to develop and oversee the delivery of the machine learning roadmap across various crucial AI areas of the Takealot Group, including:

• Product Catalogue
• Merchants (Retail & Marketplace)
• Supply Chain & Logistics

Key tasks include:

• Leading a team of dedicated machine learning engineers to meet strategic roadmap timelines.
• Enhancing the integration of ML solutions across software engineering teams within the company.
• Guiding agile project methodologies to ensure efficient and timely delivery of projects.
• Interacting closely with business units to identify and drive impactful machine learning applications.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills and experiences, including:

• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
