Product Marketing Manager, AI and Machine Learning

The successful candidate will join the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Machine Learning (ML) Strategy and Technologies team, playing a crucial role within the business by marrying industry-leading solutions with NXP's vision and machine learning offerings. This is a unique opportunity that has a broad impact on the Automotive, Industrial, and IoT Consumer embedded microcontroller and applications processors.
Job Summary:
- Responsible for product definition, roadmap development, and software enablement, particularly concerning machine learning
- Strong focus on customers' application needs and alignment
- Form a robust interdisciplinary link between segment marketing, systems engineering, software R&D, design teams, sales and marketing organization, and our customers
- Create compelling narratives around our machine learning capabilities in hardware and software, from use cases to implementation
- Perform competitive analysis: build benchmark messaging and adjust strategy based on competitive positioning
- Support regional sales and FAE teams for customer design-in activities, delivering supporting material, and developing a joint solution value proposition to accelerate design
- Collect technical requirements and market intelligence for the assigned solutions
- Assist marketing and communication related activities linked to AI and ML technologies
Key Challenges:
- Utilize technical expertise whilst maintaining a focus on business challenges and market needs
- Collect and analyze market intelligence to determine the best ways to support our customers in their AI and ML end solutions
- Prepare “pitch-decks” and proposals for advocating new solutions with NXP product owners
Cross-functional aspects:
- Collaborate with marketing managers, product management teams, systems/application engineering teams, regional sales and FAE teams to consolidate requirements for hardware/software products, and drive the implementation of these requirements
Job Qualifications:
- BSEE or MSEE required
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor/electronic engineering technical roles
- 4+ years of experience with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies for embedded devices
- 4+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally in a B2B environment
- Expert in the field of machine learning, with practical experience in building and implementing machine learning solutions
- Current understanding of the machine learning ecosystem, including related tools and software stacks
- Proven experience in understanding and applying knowledge of market dynamics, competition impact
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with a high technology product portfolio – technical expertise in Semiconductor or high technology industry required along with the ability to understand product applications
- Ability to develop successful cross-functional relationships internally and with customers
- Knowledge of application processors, software stack, and middleware components for embedded processing products
- Ability to create system-level solutions and communicate value to product management and engineering teams
- Ability to develop strategic plans
- Agile, flexible, motivated, and committed to the success of the NXP teams
- Must be able to travel as necessary to meet with customers, partners and participate in trade shows
- Strong communication skills and English writing/speaking proficiency is a must
