Product Owner for Machine Learning

The Role As a Product Owner for one of our Machine Learning teams, you will direct the vision and development of products powered by machine learning, using agile best practices to maximize the business value of the team's deliverables. This role mixes product owner proficiency and understanding of the machine learning project lifecycle. Responsibilities: - Lead a machine learning team as the Product Owner; - Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team throughout the project; - Analyze the team’s projects to drive new developments; - Convert stakeholder requirements into project specifications and define project requirements; - Formulate requirements in the shape of epics and stories; - Handle the backlog and iteration planning process; - Direct the planning of product release plans and outline the expectations for the delivery of new functionalities; - Mitigate obstacles that impact the release/sprint goals; - Promote agile values and support the team and organization by using agile/scrum best practices; - Scan the market for opportunities and symbolize the voice of the customer to the team. We anticipate you to have: - Practical experience as a Product Owner in a tech environment; - Understanding of the machine learning product lifecycle; - Solid agile experience; - Demonstrated capability to define a set of requirements that identify business issues and identify the technical and business changes needed to address them; - Ability to communicate effectively and concisely across technology and business teams; - Prior technical knowledge on data analysis, machine learning and/or data engineering is a plus; - Familiarity with online sports betting and casino products is an asset; - Sound comprehension of technology, programming languages, and software architecture is a plus.
