Job Title: Program Manager, Applied Artificial Intelligence for RF IC Design

In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of AI, CAD, and RF expert researchers and engineers. Your goal will be to accelerate and transform the RF chip design process using cutting-edge AI methodologies. You will collaborate with a diverse group of researchers daily to drive the adoption of AI-assisted design, significantly improving productivity, creating optimal and unique designs, and enabling less experienced designers to complete tasks efficiently.

To excel in this role, you must have exceptional technical expertise in AI applications for chip design, combined with strong leadership skills to drive this transformative program's success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive program plan for applying AI methodologies to RF chip design processes.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of AI researchers, RF engineers, and semiconductor experts to foster collaboration.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and challenges to ensure timely milestone delivery and successful AI technique integration.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including senior leadership and research partners.
  • Collaborate with external research partners to facilitate knowledge sharing and integrate AI-assisted methodologies.
  • Contribute to intellectual property development and research dissemination through publications and presentations.
  • Manage program budgets and resources while ensuring compliance with funding agency requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a strong background in AI/machine learning and semiconductor design knowledge.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in AI/ML with a proven track record in leading R&D programs focused on applying AI to design/innovation engineering processes.
  • Understanding of chip design principles, methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders and presenting complex information clearly.
  • Proven track record in research publications and patent applications, particularly in AI applications to semiconductor design.
  • Experience in managing research grants, budgets, and compliance with funding agency requirements.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
