AI-Driven Language Learning

AI will help scale and enhance our human-centered teaching approach for our teachers and students. It is fundamental to achieving the Lingoda product vision. We are seeking a talented and experienced Prompt Engineer (all genders) to join as a founding member of our AI team. You will support our ambition to create a continuous learning experience and the best learning experience in the world.

Your Mission

As a Prompt Engineer at Lingoda, you will have a strong background in implementing AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and be an expert in prompt engineering. Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and Fine-Tuning Prompts: Crafting high-quality prompts to guide AI models in generating accurate and relevant responses and refining them based on performance and user feedback.
• Model Training and Evaluation: Training and fine-tuning AI models, and evaluating their performance through various metrics and user testing.
• Research and Experimentation: Staying updated with advancements in LLMs and conducting experiments to test different prompt structures and techniques.
• Documentation and Reporting: Documenting methodologies, experiments, and outcomes, and reporting findings to stakeholders.
• User Experience Optimization: Working closely with UX designers to ensure prompts align with user needs and enhance user experience.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate prompts into applications and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ethical Considerations: Designing prompts to minimize bias and promote fairness, and monitoring ethical concerns in AI-generated content.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Providing support for prompt performance issues and implementing solutions to improve reliability.

Your Profile

What you bring to Lingoda:

• Expertise in prompt engineering and creating LLM-based product solutions.
• Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python) and integrating LLM solutions into applications.
• Strong understanding of NLP concepts and techniques, and experience with libraries like spaCy, NLTK, or transformers.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Fluent English skills (C-level).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
