Key Responsibilities

• Understand and apply various statistical modeling methods to different data sets, considering their biases and applicability.
• Build expertise in predictive modeling techniques such as regression, classification, and clustering, tailored to specific requirements and specifications.
• Develop capabilities in Natural Language Processing (NLP) for applications like text summarization, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and trend analysis.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate their problems into scalable machine learning use-cases.
• Deliver innovative data science solutions using tools like Shiny web apps, R packages, and Power BI dashboards.
• Work with technical partners to customize ML offerings from cloud providers to meet business needs.
• Design and automate quality data experiments to drive personalized solutions for GxPs across GQA and R&D.
• Simplify quality data information management using automated models.
• Implement solutions using Power BI and Shiny Web Apps, supported by Python, R, and Apache Spark.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years in advanced analytics or data science roles, with strong experience in NLP.
• Expertise in R or Python (preferred).
• Excellent analytical mindset to translate business problems into advanced analytics use-cases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in STEM subjects (e.g., Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Engineering, Mathematics, Chemistry).
• Proven experience in communicating complex data science concepts to business stakeholders clearly and effectively.
• Experience in Python-based design and local data science frameworks and toolkits.
• Practical experience in building and implementing large-scale ML systems using SQL, Hadoop, NoSQL, or Spark.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure technical stack, Databricks, and GitHub.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and a hypothesis-driven approach.
