Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher engineering degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Should have 12-16 years overall experience in delivering solutions based on Java and open-source technologies as an engineer in global firms.
• Practical experience with java 8 or greater, spring, Spring batch, MongoDB or PostgreSQL, microservices architecture, Reactive programming, Redis (caching), Angular (GUI) and Cloud computing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience of analysis and development with Data Processing platform utilizing Spark.
• Significant exposure to working with large enterprise grade components with the ability to manage end-to-end delivery
• Deep Experience in Microservices based Cloud Native architecture with a Java background, having exposure to digital transformation and digital technologies
• Good exposure to working with large enterprise grade components
• Good experience and understanding of working in an agile environment
• Good grasp of DevOps procedures (CI/CD pipeline)
• Experience in fintech or lending industry is a plus but not necessary.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across functions, build relationships, and accomplish broader organizational goals.
• Self-starter, who can take initiatives and make things happen.

• Develop software products for banking and financing institutions with R&D teams that are openly collaborative, non-hierarchical, appreciate contributions and operate with agility
• Enable, empower, and inspire teams for continuous improvement in technology and processes
• Challenge and support individuals and engineering practices to improve product quality.

• Provide governance to product teams to ensure the quality and efficiency of solutions
• Act as a mentor to the team and reinforce organizational values and culture

Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher engineering degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent additional professional experience.
