Java Squad Lead

As an iRetail Squad Leader, you will spearhead a self-sufficient squad of engineers, specializing in Java technologies. Your role encompasses engineering decisions and feature delivery in collaboration with a Product Owner. The role demands strong technical leadership, commitment to product iterations, and adherence to agile practices, resulting in value-driven development cycles.

Experience and Skills:

• 8-12 years of experience in designing and developing software products with Java technologies
• Expertise in Java-based technologies as a strong hands-on individual contributor
• Experience leading a technical team of 3-6 developers
• Exposure to API-first/headless interfaces, microservices, AWS solutions, CI/CD with Jenkins
• Proficiency in automation service tests and unit tests
• Excellent articulation skills for complex technology designs and architecture
• Proficiency in Agile methodology and estimation skills

Preferred Skills/Knowledge:

• Experience with NDC and ONE Order systems, merchandising solutions, pricing engines, CRM, airline revenue management, dynamic pricing systems, personalization engines, and payment systems

Java Product Engineer

We are looking for skilled programmers to join self-driven squads. As a Sr Engineer, you will be trusted to deliver features for the iRetail product, gaining new skills and digital capabilities in the process.

Experience and Skills:

• 3-8 years of experience in designing and developing Java technologies
• Exposed to microservices and API design
• Familiarity with MERN, Kotlin/Flutter
• Experience with AWS solutions, CI/CD with Jenkins
• Proficiency in automation service tests and unit tests
• Inclination towards automating repeated tasks using scripts and tools
• Familiar with Agile methodology
• Ability to quickly adapt and learn new skills and technologies
• Keen interest in digital capabilities across NLP, Conversation platforms, personalization, data analytics, etc.
• Preferred experience in retail/ecommerce/digital platforms
