Job Title: Research Analyst (3+ years experience) - Legal/SQL/Excel

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Research Analyst to join our team at Wolters Kluwer. This role requires an expanded conceptual understanding and technical knowledge in data science. You will work under moderate guidance to perform a range of technical assignments and resolve moderately complex problems following established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and capture all content issued by regulators within your region (North America, UK/EMEA, APAC).
• Utilize web scraping scripts, change detection tools, and manual monitoring to identify and capture regulatory changes.
• Process captured content through appropriate workflows within a proprietary content management system.
• Develop understanding of administrative procedures for regional regulators in the Financial Services industry.
• Assist with front-end content development, identification, prioritization, and acquisition.
• Establish global content standard operating procedures and workflows for international regulatory compliance content.
• Ensure real-time capture and accurate data loading into client-specific systems and ftp/server locations daily.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Strong knowledge and experience in Legal, SQL, and Excel.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating relevant expertise and capabilities.
• Ability to interpret and operationalize machine learning models into business applications.
• Proficiency in predictive analytics, statistical methods, and complex mathematical models.
• Experience in handling and understanding business trends hidden in big data.
