Research Associate (Computer Science/Machine Learning/Deep Learning/Automatic Control)

The S-Lab for Advanced Intelligence is inviting applications for the role of Research Associate. We are looking for a Research Associate to join a university-level research center in collaboration with the industry. The position duration is one year, with a potential renewal depending on satisfactory performance. Successful candidates will participate in a project related to physics-informed machine learning and control with an application in data center operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. To independently carry out research in physics-informed machine learning. 2. To produce research reports and/or publish as required by the funding body or for distribution within the academic community. 3. To offer support to other researchers and students involved in the project. 4. To attend, contribute to, and where necessary lead relevant meetings. 5. To undertake any other additional duties relevant to the research program. Job Requirements: 1. A Master’s degree in relevant fields. 2. Solid foundational knowledge in at least two of the following areas: Computer Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Automatic Control. 3. A strong record of publication in top-tier machine learning or control-related conferences/journals is an advantage. 4. Familiarity with scientific or engineering software like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc. 5. Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, clear logical thinking, and a willingness to learn.
