Job Overview

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a driven and innovative Research Engineer to join A Corp Lab at NTU. This role is perfect for someone with a strong passion for groundbreaking AI-based design in areas like layout generation, media enhancement, and image processing.

Key Responsibilities

As a Research Engineer, you will:

• Collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator and engineering teams to develop and implement cutting-edge AI-based design projects.
• Handle data curation, construct datasets, and conduct experimental user studies to propel research initiatives forward.
• Create and refine algorithms and models that significantly improve multimedia content, focusing on both images and videos.

Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Extensive knowledge in Computer Vision, particularly in image and video generation and enhancement.
• A proven track record with publications as the main author in eminent AI and Computer Vision conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, or AAAI.
• Expertise in programming, particularly in Python and PyTorch, is essential. Experience maintaining or contributing to well-known code repositories on GitHub would be advantageous.
• Strong abilities to test, debug, and optimize code, along with excellent problem-solving skills.
